The religious Buddhist text, going back to Buddha himself, is part of a popular collection of Tibetan Buddhism (canon compiled in 14th century).
The text is in Tibetan language and script. The item is a handwritten copy for personal use, probably of a monk, possibly from 19th century. The leaves are numbered to 39. It is written with inks of different colours on black cardboard.
The text itself was frequently printed and is available in various languages, e.g.in English: “The diamond Sutra: the perfection of wisdom” Washington 2001.
